Personal Data Protection Services

Gianluca Perilli, in its quality of Senator of the Republic of Italy, XVIII Legislature, was rapporteur of the Provisions for the adaptation of national legislation to the provisions of regulation (EU) 2016/679 concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data - GDPR .

Marco Perilli has been certified as DPO by Accredia (the only Italian official Certification Authority) according to the standard UNI 11697:2017.

GDPR  COMPLIANCE

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has set a high bar for personal data protection in the European Union and has wide-ranging implications for businesses, both within and outside the EU. Under the GDPR, all organizations that handle EU citizens' data must comply with strict requirements on data collection, processing, storage, and deletion, as well as the right of data subjects to access, modify, and delete their data.

Achieving GDPR compliance can be a complex process that requires specialized knowledge and experience. Automated software or pre-packaged solutions can be tempting shortcuts, but they often fall short in delivering tailored, effective solutions to meet an organization's specific needs.

Improvised consultants may also lack the in-depth knowledge of the law, best practices, and sector-specific risks and threats that are necessary to ensure effective compliance.

We provide expert guidance and assistance in achieving GDPR compliance. We work closely with our clients to assess their current data protection practices, identify gaps and vulnerabilities, and design and implement customized solutions to meet their specific needs. We have an extensive experience in helping organizations of all sizes and sectors achieve GDPR compliance while minimizing disruption to their operations and safeguarding their reputation and financial health.

DATA PROTECTION OFFICER

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires organisations to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) under certain conditions. If an organisation's core activities involve processing personal data that requires regular and systematic monitoring of data subjects on a large scale, then they must appoint a DPO. The DPO acts as an intermediary between the organisation, data subjects, and supervisory authorities. They are responsible for ensuring that the organisation is compliant with the GDPR and other data protection regulations.

Mr. Marco Perilli, a legal expert at Perilli Law Firm, is a certified DPO by Accredia, the only Italian official Certification Authority, according to the standard UNI 11697:2017. He has the necessary knowledge and expertise to provide legal assistance to organisations in complying with the GDPR. In addition to his DPO certification, Mr. Perilli has successfully completed the training course for Lead Auditor ISO 27001:2013 with CEPAS/BUREAU VERITAS. This makes him well-equipped to help organisations manage their information security management systems, ensuring that their sensitive data is protected from potential security breaches.

TRADE SECRETS AND NDA

Trade secrets are a valuable asset for any company, as they represent the essence of their competitive advantage in the market. However, protecting trade secrets is a complex and challenging task that requires a high level of both legal and technical competence. Trade secrets may encompass a wide range of confidential business information, such as formulas, processes, designs, software, customer lists, or strategic plans, and their unauthorized disclosure or use may result in serious financial and reputational damages.

At Perilli Law Firm, we understand the importance of trade secrets and the need to safeguard them. Our experienced team of legal and technical professionals provides a comprehensive approach to trade secret protection, including risk assessment, identification, classification, and management of confidential information, as well as drafting of non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, internal policies and procedures, and employee training programs.

We work closely with our clients to ensure that their trade secrets are adequately protected and enforced, including legal actions against misappropriation or infringement. Our goal is to enable our clients to access a free and profitable industrial activity, without the fear of losing their competitive edge due to the disclosure or theft of their confidential information.
